CASE STUDY
ARKANSAS RAZORBACK STADIUM
Public Sector, Distributed Antenna System (DAS)
Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas, has been the home of the Razorback football team since 1938. The stadium was renovated to the tune of $160 million in 2018, which included complete reconstruction of the North End Zone and Frank Broyles Athletic Center.
TriStar Electric partnered with Mercury Communications to install a distributed antenna system (DAS) in the renovated space. TriStar installed conduit raceways from the north end of the stadium to all antennas. TriStar’s dedicated crew also built a DC power plant to power all antennas and remotes and provided optical time-domain reflectometer (OTDR) testing and fiber-fusion splicing.
